CT scanning is totally different than X-ray scanning. X-ray scanning is only one 2D picture. But in CT scanning , it will slice your body into many 2D picture and it can combine together become a 3D model

Why we use CT Scanner in soft robotic

I choose them to scanning because when it moving ,the shell will be shrinking. It inspired me in my soft robotic project.
Import the data you get from CT scanning into Roi Painter and export to"obj"file .After that get the obj file into Mesh edit software like "Meshmixer" or "Sculptris".Final fix the crack mesh if you can find.
